Disney Is Bringing The Biggest Movies, Series, And Stars Like Amy Adams, Scarlett Johansson, And Tom Hiddleston To Its Streaming Platform With 100 New Titles Per Year, But It’s Going To Cost You
Disney held their annual Investor day and fans of Hulu, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, and Disney Plus are thrilled with all of the content that is coming their way. The event lasted approximately four hours and included trailers, clips, and an overview of the new programming that’s coming in 2021 and beyond. Since Disney acquired Fox, their programming has expanded and there will be many changes coming to the platform.
Additionally, with the Coronavirus pandemic underway and more people practicing social distancing, Disney is going to release many of their upcoming movies in theaters and on Disney+. Some movies will stream exclusively on Disney + such as the upcoming Amy Adams led sequel to Enchanted, Disenchanted.
Disney also premiered the first trailer for the Tom Hiddleston led series Loki. Marvel fans were ecstatic regarding all of the programs coming to Disney + including the upcoming Scarlett Johansson long-awaited film Black Widow.
The series and movies coming to Disney + feature a who’s who of celebrities with performers such as Don Cheadle, Tatiana Maslany, Tim Roth, Chris Hemsworth, Rosaria Dawson, Will Smith, Selena Gomez, Martin Short, Hayden Christensen, Harrison Ford, Hailee Steinfeld, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Emilio Estevez, Josh Peck, Christian Bale, Nicole Kidman, Brie Larson, John Stamos, Anthony Mackie, and Sebastian Stan.
Along with all of the new programming that’s coming to Disney+ there will be a price change.
As Disney+ now owns Fox and has a 30 percent share in Hulu, they are offering monthly bundle packages that include ESPN+, Hulu, and Disney+. Those who choose to simply buy Disney+ will still see a price hike come March 2021. Anyone who is paying for Hulu and ESPN will find they will save if they go for the bundle plan.
