In it, players take on the role of Odin and journey into Niflheim to confront Hel to escape an “ill-timed fate.” This new gameplay video provides a few glances into how the mode functions but focuses on five key points that fans will be interested in.
Particularly if they don’t frequently engage in roguelike gaming, players must finish many runs spread out over the four Niflheim zones to beat the game mode in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
There are several Metroidvania-inspired elements, such as shortcuts that can be unlocked to make each run simpler and a tonne of hidden items to find.
A permanent ability bonus that players can find that lasts from run to run is particularly mentioned in the movie as being concealed in some places.
