No Revelations Regarding Mortal Kombat Will Be Made At Evo 2022
This weekend marks the start of Evo 2022, which will include the live show “Evo Lounge,” which will include “interesting material” and divulge details from August 5 to 6. Warner Bros.
Games, Capcom, SNK, Arc System Works, and Bandai Namco Entertainment are all there, according to Sony. NetherRealm Studios, though, won’t be there.

Ed Boon, the chief creative officer of the Mortal Kombat creator, clarified this on Twitter by saying that no revelations will be made at the occasion. “The moment has come for Street Fighter and other fantastic fighting games to shine in the limelight! Enjoy it together!”
Mortal Kombat 12 rumors have been going around for a while, whether it be from an “intended breach” from senior production manager Jonathan Andersen or cues from Andrew Bowen, the voice of Johnny Cage.
The company has not, however, formally declared its upcoming title. Boon has so far discussed how he deviated from the typical Injustice and Mortal Kombat game publication order, adding that there was a “purpose” for this and that when we reveal our next game, it will be a lot more logical.
The DC superhero series Injustice, according to journalist Jeff Grubb, was given less priority by NetherRealm than Mortal Kombat 12 because of the studio’s uncertain future with parent firm WB Games.
“Mortal Kombat 12 would make the most sense since that’s a game they know will make money, it would sell well, and it ties up with reality and what I’ve heard… Mortal Kombat 11 was fantastic and is currently doing well, but if Mortal Kombat 12 is released, it will also sell and perform well, according to Grubb.
The Johnny Cage actor did, however, seem to hint earlier this year that he was creating fresh content for the fighting game franchise.
The actor who played Cage in Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 11 named Andrew Bowen, shared a video on Twitter that indicated he was on the Warner Bros. set in a since-deleted tweet.
