RHOP Season Six Contracts Have Been Sent Out — Monique Samuels Will Return Despite Fight With Candiace Dillard
The fate of Monique Samuels‘ future was hanging in the distance after her physical altercation with Candiace Dillard. Monique fans can rejoice in knowing that she received a contract for the next season of Real Housewives of Potomac.
Although this wasn’t the first and probably won’t be the last Housewives fight Bravo has ever seen, something about this one felt different due to the fact that the ladies took the battle to court — something Bravo frowns upon.
Many people felt that Monique should be fired for putting her hands on Candiace but that simply wouldn’t be fair of the network considering Housewives have been physical as recently as the last season of Real Housewives of New Jersey.
While chatting with fans on a livestream, one person said: ‘There are rumors about you being fired, are you allowed to talk about that. my understanding is that contracts have not been sent out yet. if you gone, I am gone.’
Samuels reassured her follower that she wasn’t going anywhere.
‘Contracts have been sent out and that rumor is not true.’
The news was reposted by a Real Housewives fan page where followers gave their reactions.
‘And so she should!!! She’s the main reason a lot of people tune in to Potomac,’ wrote one.
‘As she should. Teresa went to prison for crying out loud and was allowed to come back. Can’t believe Candace thought they’d let her go for a little hair pull,’ said another.
This person added: ‘Monique is the show! Duh! I’m more interested in who’s NOT coming back *cough* Robyn *cough*’
While this person said: ‘Everyone will be back. It makes the most sense. I think we’d all like to see them resolve the issues from last season.’
Who else do you think will be returning? Do you think Bravo is making the right choice?
