Soldiers Allow Transgender Troops to Work Openly !

Wednesday will reportedly announce that transgender soldiers can work openly in the military and receive medical benefits if they change their gender, following a promise by President Joe Biden since the beginning of the year.
Many sources confirm U.S. news The new policies will allow transgender people to enlist in the military and work as openly as their gender recognizes, and that they will be able to access health-related care-related health care. These forces still have to meet military standards.
The move brings relief from what lawyers have called unnecessary sanctions against Trump officials who believe it hurts military readiness.
“We have always said that reinstating the goal of the full deployment of transgender troops will be straightforward,” Aaron Belkin, director of the California-based research institute, said in an email to U.S. News News. “This is a major step towards making our troops stronger and more efficient, and we honor years of research that show that a single standard for all service members improves readiness and allows for the largest number of trained personnel.
“We will continue to monitor the reunification of transgender troops, and help ensure that every American who is willing and able to work has the opportunity to defend his country,” Belkin said.
Biden first announced in January his intention to overturn Trump’s ban in 2017 – without notice or consultation with the Pentagon – and reclaim many of the rights that Obama’s administration began to exercise in 2016. Biden’s executive council called on the military, including the Coast Guard under the Department of Homeland Security, to conduct a 60-day review of the new policy, and barred any member of staff who was forced out of the war due to patent issues during this time.
Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has also called for a review of soldiers who may have been fired in recent years for gender identity.
The Associated Press first reported on the change in the law.
The Department of Defense did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The policy announcement on Wednesday serves as a recent example of the controversial assets the Trump administration has tried to erase.
“President Biden believes that gender should not be a barrier to military service, and that American power is derived from its diversity,” White House said in a press release shortly after Biden signed the decree in January. “America has power, at home and around the world, if it includes everyone. Soldiers are no different. To allow all eligible Americans to work for their country uniforms is better for the military and better for the country because the unifying force is active force.
The 2016 study estimates that less than 6,600 transgender people work among the 1.3 million active workers, or half a percent, in small numbers among reservists.
Austin said while listening to assurances last week that he had accepted the ban change.
The June 2019 Gallup poll, which was seen as a Trump ban, had legal challenges, found that 71% of Americans support allowing transgender people to work in the military. The majority of those who identified themselves as Democrats and independents supported the demolition, while the Republicans opposed it.
A military analysis presented at Congress in 2018 found that the additional medical costs of transgender soldiers – one of the reasons why Trump supporters backed down the ban – were small, especially compared to the Department of Defense’s $ 700 billion budget.
On Wednesday to mark International Transgender Day of Visibility, Biden said in a White House proclamation “recognizing generations of struggle, activism, and courage that has brought our country closer to the full equality of transgender people and transgender people in the United States and beyond. The world.”
“Transgender Americans make our nation prosperous, vibrant, and resilient. I urge my fellow Americans to join us in upholding the value and dignity of all passersby,” Biden said in a statement.
