Texas Ranger hosts more than 38,000 fans at home openings, making it one of the first full-length

The Texas Ranger hosted nearly 40,000 fans at Globe Life Park in Arlington on Monday, making it one of the first major sporting events in the U.S. . Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic more than a year ago.
Monday’s 6-2 defeat by the Toronto Blue Jays was Ranger’s first home game, with a total of 38,238 vendors.
Ranger manager Chris Woodward said on Monday that tent fans had made an electric shock, although they did not win.
“I was hoping we would see how far our stadium could go if we gave them something to enjoy, but unfortunately we didn’t do that,” he said.
The group received national attention after making all home-opening tickets last month, about a week after Texas Governor Greg Abbot announced he was revoking state authority. President Joe Biden told ESPN on Thursday that he thought the decision was “wrong.”
“Yeah, that’s a decision they made. I think it’s a mistake,” Biden said. “They should listen to Dr. Fauci, scientists and experts. But I don’t think he’s responsible for that.”
Ahead of Monday’s game, Abbott said he would not throw the first pitch in the home opening game or take part in Major League Baseball after the league pulled its All-Star Game in Atlanta. MLB has moved the game to Denver in response to major changes to Georgia’s voting laws,
Monday was the first time Ranger fans attended a regular season game at their new stadium. Globe Life Park has served as a neutral for the 2020 National Championship Series and World Series, and was the only football stadium to hold fans last year.
Most teams limit fan access to about 25 percent power, reports CBS Sports. The Houston Astros are not fully opening the Minute Maid Park, but will allow 50 percent power to attend games throughout April.
